We will help you develop your flexibility training program so it integrates perfectly with your other training. Believe it or not, stretching effectively does not take much time if you do it right. We will teach you how.
Sport specific stretching is designed to complement your training both in and out of season. While in season, your Certified Flexibility Specialistâ„¢ will create a program based on your specific needs and requests. Most often the goals are to maintain flexibility so that you can continue peak production as an athlete while at the same time keep injuries and nagging aches, pain and soreness to a minimum, if at all. Speedy and complete recovery from physical and mental exertion after competition and training are key goals that are achieved with in season assisted stretching. This program will keep you at your optimal level of athletic performance.
Off season is time to regain lost flexibility from the previous season or from the many seasons of being a veteran athlete. A complete evaluation will reveal myofascial (muscle and fascial) imbalances in your structure that can be the cause of chronic pain and soreness as well as cause decreased strength, speed and flexibility. This program is designed to maximize your flexibility potential by assisting your body to achieve movement that was previously thought not possible. An individualized self stretch program will be created for you so that you will maintain the gains achieved with assisted stretching.
