Therapeutic Massage
uses a combination of techniques to bring about healing to areas of stress and tension in the body. This treatment can be used for the entire body or for specific areas. The techniques used are specific to the client's needs and may include a combination of Swedish, trigger point therapy, sports massage, reflexology, and stretching.
Injury Massage
an adaptation of neuromuscular therapy, utilizes soft tissue techniques to improve the condition of muscles that have experienced trauma. Specific protocols are used to rehabilitate the affected soft tissues. This form of massage helps relieve the tissue of ischemia, relieve trigger points, relieve nerve compression or entrapment, assist in alleviating postural distortions and helps balance biomechanical dysfunction.
